Abandoned approx. 300 years ago, Hypatia Mining Station was the most isolated colony in the Cosmos. For millennia it provided reservoirs of astatine and moscovium used in warp engines. When the technology evolved the mining operation were stopped.
Now the planet is used for space tourism, providing one of the best views in the entire galaxy.
