Valerion

Valerion
- or HD 140283-A -

On the surface, the planet breathes with undisturbed tranquility. Yet, looking upward reveals a violent cosmic paradox. The system's primary star has entered its terminal phase and its about to go Nova soon, transforming the sky into a swirling nebula of radiation. The sister planet is caught in the gravitational firestorm, its crust completely fracturing into glowing rivers of magma as it is torn apart.
Against all laws of astrophysics, Valerion remains a pristine, golden paradise thriving effortlessly in the literal jaw of a looming supernova, existing in a magnificent, final moment of quiet grace before the inevitable cosmic reset. What a paradox this Universe is; It created such a beautiful planet with such elaborate and beautiful fauna am flora only to destroyed in a blink of an eye. All we can do is gather some plants and preserve them in our preservation center.
