The Mining Station

Cepheus C – Asteroid Belt

Built approximately 200 years ago, Cepheus Mining Station had the purpose of extracting Moscovium used for the warp engines. The extraction was stopped when engineers discovered an anomaly in the core of the asteroid. Later data suggested that the anomaly was an ancient spacecraft buried 1 km underneath the soil. This spacecraft has been there for 2 million years, and this asteroid was once part of a planet inhabited by a now lost civilization. We do not know who they were, but one thing is certain; someone more powerful has destroyed them in the blink of an eye.

-Mission Status: Relic retrieved. Mining operations stopped.
